A senior health official has dismissed reports that two people have been hospitalized with the H1N1 virus.

Around midday on Thursday; reports surfaced that two foreign nationals had tested positive and were hospitalized.

Tickets go on sale for Grenada leg of Windies/Bangladesh series

Tickets for the test match between West Indies and Bangladesh went on sale from July 1st 2009.

Matches will be played at the national cricket stadium from July 17th – 21st.

Tickets are being sold from 8:00am to 4:30pm at the ticket office at the cricket stadium.

They will play two test match series, and three One Day Internationals

President of the Grenada Cricket Association, Cecil Greenidge says they have designed a fee structure to allow as many people as possible an opportunity to witness the game.   » More...

Carriacou Netballer Selected for National Under 23 Team

Diana Gittens, a netball player from Carriacou, has become the first person from the sister island to be selected to represent Grenada on the national under 23 netball team.

She is a recent graduate of the Hillsborough Secondary School and will travel with the team to Nevis on a one week tour.

Gittens, was awarded during her graduation ceremony for her outstanding performance in netball during her five years at the school. She will be playing in the position of wing attack.   » More...
